Pastors for Civility is launched in the USA!

 

Nevada, USA- HRH Dr. Clyde Rivers, I Change Nations and Professor Ira Roach collaborated with a team of experts to launch Pastors for Civility.  Professor Roach was appointed President of this initiative.  

HRH Dr. Clyde Rivers states, "The pandemic shut the whole world down and the church became non-essential. Why is the church non-essential?  How can we become essential again?"   This question allowed a team of experts to build a think tank and have a conversation surrounding this subject.  HRH planned  a three day forum that would include break out sessions, visiting a local Pastor's vision of a thrift store, food bank and mobile showers for the community. There was instruction, team strategy sessions and an award ceremony.  

 

Each activity over the three days was created to build a foundation for the movement.  Scenarios were given to each team and solutions had to be submitted by the end of the break out session.  The team of experts ate, celebrated and created together.  HRH Dr. Clyde Rivers led the participants in discovering the guiding principles that would govern organizations utilizing this platform. The Pastors for Civility forum allowed Professor Roach to connect with likeminded individuals who had evidence and results in understanding the Kingdom principles.  

After the three days, the experts created I. W.A.T.C.H. This acronym was developed to represent the essentials for the foundation of  Pastors for Civility.

The Pastors for Civility was created for Pastors to have a voice in the public square and how to engage in the world we live in today, stated HRH Dr. Clyde Rivers.  

Professor Roach was appointed President but also received and ordination certificate from UGSCI and became a Human Rights Social Development Chaplain through I Change Nations.  "This trip has been life changing and I look forward to the impact that this platform will make in the world," says Professor Roach.  

Professor Ira Roach III is the founder of Focus Forward Global Civility Movement and the Senior Pastor of the City of Refuge Church Inc. He is also a Professor of Searcher Education at United Graduate College and Seminary International.  and founder  of Ubuntu Graduate College and International Seminary,  He holds a Doctorate in Christian Counseling, Christian Education and a Certified Christian Coach.
